The Stirlings – Above and Beyond

For the next 12 months I will be photographing a new project called ‘The Stirlings – Above and Beyond’.  The Stirling Ranges National Park is in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. I plan to photograph the region from all aspects including portraiture, aerial etc, with the aim of portraying the region in way that hasn’t been done before.

It will be mainly photographed on a digital camera (progress can be seen on my facebook page).

However, for those following this blog Im sure you will agree that some things photographed in the digital medium aren’t given their due justice. The grittiness and honesty of photographing such things as portraits of locals, and moments or spaces in-between, will be reserved for my film camera.

Therefore all analogue photos from this project will be posted here, which is the reason why I presume those following this blog are here for?

Feel free to make comments about any that you like. I will be exhibiting some of the better ones in 12 months, so your feedback will be much appreciated.
