Hey… Name is Scott. I’ve had a blog on WordPress for a while but I am just now really getting into it. Last night I decided to follow some fellow photogs. I am really digging the image of the fellow fishing and 2 images above that (the house with the tree in the foreground. You do some really nice work my friend!

Thanks for taking the time to make a comment Scott. The fisherman shot amazed me that so much detail was still in the photo considering it was pointed straight into the sun (a benefit of shooting film). The street scene above that one i am planning to go back to and some stage and set-up a scene, eg Gregory Crewdson style, but without the million $ budget.

I started with film back in the mid 90s. Went to digital in the early 2000s and was doing portrait and event photography as a part time business. Got sick of the business aspects of it and missed shooting film. Love the latitude and look film has. I’m starting a few projects with my Holga 120N and Holga 135. Probably won’t have any completed until later this yr though.

These are awesome. I’ve been recently shooting with a Holga while my medium format gathers dust. I need to get back to film, you just can’t beat the effect it has (and all the emotion and mystery that comes along). I love your work, keep it up!
